Where We Started.

You may recognize us as Caesars Etc but our story began long before we started serving our iconic caesar salad wraps in 2001. Cooking has always been in our blood — from family roots in Hawaii, where our grandfather ran the beloved ‘Aiea Grill’ for over 40 years, to tableside Caesar salads at Domenico’s on the Wharf in Monterey. Food wasn’t just a job, it was a way of life.

In the early days, we launched Caesars Etc. — a simple idea that turned into something unforgettable. Our first big break came at the Monterey Jazz Festival, where a last-minute opportunity allowed us to serve our signature Caesar salads with coastal twists like calamari, crab, and shrimp. That spark grew into years of festival favorites, from Monterey Jazz to Cali Roots, and now our fifth year catering out at the Laguna Seca race track.

Cooking has always been a family affair. Since the age of 13, my son has worked by my side — now with over 16 years of experience, he helps lead both the front and back of house. Watching him grow into his own as a chef and business partner has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. Together, we’ve built more than a catering company — we’ve built a family tradition, blending coastal flavors with quality time spent doing what we love most. So here is to our next chapter as Seabreeze Catering.
